Client Account Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Act as key liaison between designated clients and company with specific emphasis on establishing a deep knowledge of client needs such as product portfolio, order trends, and future projects that may result in new business opportunities. This entails building upon existing relationships with clients as well as creating new contacts within the client organization with the goal of ensuring a high level of customer service and expansion of business. This position will collaborate with and support an overall sales strategy along with customer service, sales and marketing under guidance from the Director of New Business Development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Maintain and grow strong relationships with clients with focus on enhanced customer service and visibility into any business changes, merger/acquisitions and/or new business opportunities.
  2. Represent and champion Command as a key player in the medical contract manufacturing space.
  3. Create ongoing engagement with clients through physical face to face meetings, weekly calls and email.
  4. Identify and develop multi-level relationships with decision makers to ensure client retention and relationship stability within designated clients.
  5. Work with clients and Command internal stakeholders to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and met as well as escalate known issues early so they can be addressed.
  6. Follow up with clients to track satisfaction levels.
  7. Work with clients to provide accurate forecasted demands on a monthly/as needed basis.
  8. Act as a strategic advisor to clients by being a “go to” person.
  9. Track and enter all required communications/data into CRM system daily.
  10. Perform or assist with any operations under direction to maintain work flow to support business operations.
  11. Lead, attend and participate in a variety of meetings to communicate client issues, obtain customer approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new projects, purchase order developments, continuous improvement and company policies.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

MIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred and/or industry experience in sales customer service
  2. Ability to set priorities, work independently and achieve project goals
  3. Must be able to clearly listen to and communicate concepts (qualitative and quantitative)
  4. Proficient in all Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  5. Must have valid driver’s license and passport
